The Rev. Ken Meunier Transition Associate Executive Presbyter |
|
The Rev. Ken Meunier "returned home" to John Knox Presbytery as the Associate Executive Presbytery in October of 2000. Ken grew up in Galesville, WI and was under care of John Knox as this Presbytery began its history 24 years ago. Since his ordination in 1981, he has served as Associate Pastor at First Presbyterian in Shakopee, MN and Memorial Presbyterian in Phoenix, AZ before becoming pastor of the yoked Spencer Memorial Presbyterian in Lemmon, SD and Hope Presbyterian in Keldron, SD. Ken is a business education graduate of Wisconsin State University - Eau Claire, where he met his wife, Ann. Following graduation, he taught high school business in Lomira, WI and Stevens Point, WI. Between those two teaching assignments, he was drafted in the US Army, married his college sweetheart, Ann, served in Vietnam, and managed a Minnesota Fabrics Store in Downers Grove, IL. Ken answered his call to the ministry following a brief stint as a dairy farmer. Ken is an avid sports enthusiast and those around him know his favorites ( and not so favorites) in nearly every sport. He especially follows college basketball and playoff hockey. He loves going to movies, eating fast food and dancing with Ann. |
